Our Commitment of Health & Safety

By nature our sea kayaking trips have always specialized small groups, focusing on our customer needs, attention to detail and cleanliness. We want to ensure our guests that we always adhere to the highest cleanliness and safety practices. During this current outbreak, we want you to know that we are stepping up and working to go above and beyond to keep our guides and our guests healthy. Please see some of our pre-existing and updated policies we have in place to help protect all of us.

  • Bleach mixture on all kayaks & paddle touch points after every trip.
  • Each person will be assigned specific gear for their use during the trip.
  • Guides will wear masks and sanitary gloves for any food prep or handling for any trip.
  • Trip sizes will strictly adhere to Washington State Group size recommendations. Generally we run trips at a 1:8 guest to guide ratio.
  • Employee’s will no longer greet guests with a hand-shake or hugs at the end of the trip (as many of us feel like family by the end) but know we still appreciate you and are excited to meet you!
  • At our discretion we may remove a staff member from the schedule, or a guest if they have come in close contact with someone who has had Covid-19 within the past 14 days.
  • If guests or staff have experienced flu-like symptoms (a fever, cough, shortness of breath, a temporary lack of sense/smell) within the past 14 days, they will be asked to not participate in the trip.
  • Masks are required during land orientation and can be removed once we launch kayaks.
