Cypress Island

This mountainous island offers a wildness unsurpassed in the San Juan archipelago. It is the largest undeveloped island in the area and there is no ferry access! A highlight of this trip is the one mile hike to spectacular views and sunsets from Eagle Cliff. Jones Island

Enjoy a scenic ferry ride to Orcas Island in the heart of the San Juan Islands where we will launch our kayaks for 2 to 4 days of exploration. We paddle to Jones Island and set up a base camp from which to enjoy a variety of interesting day paddles as well as glorious sunsets. A highlight of this trip is a visit to Yellow Island Nature Conservancy with its abundance and variety of wildflowers. Early May is a great time to view the spring bloom in its fullness! Barkley Sound, Vancouver Island, B.C.

Virgin forests, white shell beaches and native history enhance the paddling of these sheltered waters just moments away from the more exposed coastline of the west coast of Vancouver Island, B.C.
