Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures (MDSKA) reserves the right to cancel or postpone any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever. Although rare, cancellations are generally due to wind, weather or other circumstances that are out of our control and you will always be notified. The refund of all payments received shall release MDSKA from any further liability, including expenses incurred by participants in preparing for the trip. MDSKA strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance to offset unforeseen cancellation penalties, medical and evacuation expenses. If MDSKA cancels a trip due to weather/safety concerns your deposit is valid on any of our other tours and we will do our best to reschedule your tour. If we are unable to reschedule you will receive a full-refund.

Weather Related Cancellation Policy

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures is based in the beautiful PNW, known for its diverse and sometimes unpredictable weather patterns. Given our status as a small business, we have limited resources and depend on consistent bookings to maintain the livelihood of our staff and operations. Therefore, we are unable to offer cancellations solely due to rain. Our trips are designed to run in various weather conditions to provide an authentic and immersive PNW experience.

Rest assured, safety is our highest priority. In the event of extreme weather, and unsafe paddling conditions such as gale winds, severe storms or other hazardous situations, we will cancel the trip to prioritize your safety. If we determine that it is unsafe to proceed with the trip, we will make every effort to reschedule, or issue a refund.
